Ultum and Knox City Council ensure Early Learning Centres comply

Recently, Knox City Council engaged Ultum to undertake a compliance and accessibility audit of its Early Years Facilities. 48 children’s services buildings were audited with the purpose of identifying aspects of the buildings that were not compliant with the Education and Care Services National Regulations and key aspects of the Disability (Access to Premises – Buildings) Standards 2010 which came into effect on 1 January 2012.

As a result of the detailed audit carried out by Ultum, items needing upgrade to comply with these new regulations were identified and reported with measurements and photographs. Council received positive feedback from site staff about audit conduct.
