As Council’s preferred supplier, Ultum was given the substantial task of developing and completing the audits within a 12-week program. This was successfully achieved by breaking down the site audits into two main elements:
(1) Condition ratings for each building elements and componentry – deriving asset remaining life; and
(2) Highlighting all maintenance and renewal works (including compliance and risk elements) within the next five-year period. Providing industry approved cost estimates and defect condition to derive priority.
This important piece of work will directly feed into Council’s five-year asset management plan. Which will assist in operational budgeting requirements as well as future capital works projects.
We are very pleased to have worked with Whitehorse City Council on this project. Their professionalism and extensive knowledge made the project a pleasure to work on.
